Biography

Hi, I'm Rebecca. I'm 19 years old and a senior athlete with the Majorettes Onda Azzurra. I joined this group in September 2014, and I've witnessed my team change and, above all, grow in so many ways. For me, this sport is a 'world' that I've learned to love over the years—a world built on passion, sacrifice, and personal evolution. When I started, I didn't know what to expect because I was so young. At first, it was just a physical activity, a way to stay active and learn something spectacular. Over time, I realized it was much more. I've had moments of victory, but many more of defeat and mistakes. I've faced exercises that seemed impossible, yet, paradoxically, those were the moments when I learned the most important lessons. I understood that you don't always win in life, and that true strength lies in facing challenges even when they seem bigger than us. The simple act of trying and putting myself out there is already a victory.I've learned the value of consistency: there is no growth without effort, and you achieve nothing without daily dedication. Perseverance always pays off. Maybe not immediately, but eventually it does: every small achievement, a successful move, a positive critique, or even personal improvement is a step forward that is worth more than any medal. In 2022, I was given the opportunity to train as an Anbima/MWF Trainer. This journey allowed me to build new bonds and grow even further. On May 18, 2024, I reached a milestone I will always cherish by passing my certification exam. This discipline has shaped me not only as an athlete but as a person. It taught me respect for others, emotional management, patience, and, above all, self-confidence. It gave me strong roots that I can rely on even outside the gym.The most precious gift, however, has been the friendships. The people I've met have become a fundamental part of this experience. The bonds formed here are special, true, and deep. There is constant support among teammates; we encourage and help each other through difficulties. This team spirit is the core of our journey. Finally, I want to thank my teammates, my coach, my parents, and everyone who has been part of my path.My motto: 'If I can't get it right, I get fired up!'
